Here is a explanation of how you can use the Note element to add a comment in a Sequential Function Chart.

(open in window)[00:00] The note element can be used to annotate sections of your chart to make them easier to understand. This is the only element that doesn't have to be connected to any other elements in the chart. The only rules for the note element are that it can't overlap anything else on the chart. You can see here in this example chart that the note element has been used to make the chart a little bit easier to read by showing the reader which sections of the chart are in charge of which ingredient.
