Setting Project Polling Base Rate
Description
SQL query bindings have a base poll rate that can be adjusted for the whole Project through the Project Properties window.
Video recorded using: Ignition 7.7
Transcript
(open in window)[00:00] Anytime ignition is polling data from the database it has to have some rate that it's doing that at. You can set a project-wide value in the project properties in the designer. Click project, and then properties, and then go into the client timing page. And here you can see we have a polling base rate of 5,000, that's milliseconds, or five seconds. So, anything that's using the default polling rate is polling at a five second rate. Now, I can change this, go from five to one second. And then when I hit OK, and then save my project, then you can see the next time the table opens, it will be running at a one second rate.
