[00:00] In this lesson, I'll demonstrate how to create some license related task with the EAM. From the controller gateway, we'll navigate to the network tab and the agent task page, under enterprise. This agent gateway I have in a separate tab is currently unlicensed, so I could add one to it from the controller gateway by creating a new task. At the top of the list is the task I want, which is activate licenses, so we'll choose it and click on next. I want the license to be applied right away, so we'll choose to schedule this with the immediate adoption and that way the task will run as soon as we're done configuring here. After clicking on next, we're able to select our agent where we want the license applied. I'll choose mine and continue on. On this page we can add as many licenses as we want by clicking on this button, but I'm only adding one, so I'll go ahead and remove that. You can type in the license key directly into this field, or you can choose one from the list of unassigned licenses. I only have this one here, so I'll pick that and click on next. We can review the summary to make sure the task is correct and finally, we can apply the license by clicking on the create agent task button and very quickly we'll see the task generate and execute before being removed from this page.

[01:18] If we go look at our Agent gateway's licensing page, we can see the active license. We can also run a task to update it, say in the case where we've added new modules. We'll go back to the controller's tasks page and create a new task. And this time scroll all the way down and choose update licenses. Let's schedule it to run immediately and click on next. If I were to add modules to multiple agent licenses, I can save time by updating each agent in a group by selecting a specific agent group here, and then the entire group would be updated in one go. Even though I just have one agent, I'll select my default group and click on next. Once again, we'll see a summary page and create the task. I can go to my agent gateway and the licensing page to see the details of the license and confirm that the updates went through.

[02:05] We'll switch back to the controller and run through one last task, the unactivate license task. Just like before, we'll select the task and then click next. Let's schedule it to execute immediately, and click next. We'll select my agent and next again. On this page, we're able to choose which licenses to unactivate. Again, I only have this one, so we'll choose it and click on next. Finally, we'll create the task on the summary page. Now if I switch back to the agent gateway again, I can see that the license is unactivated and the trial timer is back. Each of these tasks we've run can also be performed on the license keys page of the controller. This is where I preloaded my license before creating the task. To see how to use the license keys page you can refer to the corresponding lesson that'll link below this video.
