[00:00] If we wanna pick subsets of users to receive alarm notifications, we'll need to create on-call rosters and populate them with users. I've already gone through the steps of configuring contact information and schedules for my users, so we're ready to create our first roster. To do this, we can navigate to Services, Alarming, and Rosters. We don't have any rosters on the Gateway yet, so let's click Create Alarm Roster. We can call this roster Operators and then click the create button. The roster now appears in the list, but it's empty. To add users, we can access the three-dots menu and choose Manage Users. This screen provides all the tools necessary to view and interact with the user list. We can click the dropdown, select the default user source, and this panel will populate with the available users. These icons show that all these users have contact information pre-configured. Since this roster is specifically for operators, let's click the arrows to move Joe and Marcus, our operators, into the roster and click save.

[01:09] We do need one more roster, and I'm gonna name this one All. We can click Create Alarm Roster, enter the name, and click the create button to save the changes. Just like before, we can go to the three-dots menu and choose Manage Users. We'll select the default user source again, but this time the roster is intended for everyone. Let's add anyone with contact info to this roster. We added Marcus and Joe to the previous roster as well, so users can be added to multiple, overlapping rosters, if needed. Let's click save, and we can see the two rosters here with a given number of users for each. These two on-call rosters are now ready to be used in alarm notifications. For next steps, be sure to check out our videos on alarm pipelines to learn how to integrate these new rosters and send out notifications when alarms are active.
