[00:00] Let's take a look at how we would connect Ignition to an Allen-Bradley SLC device. First we want to log in to the Configuration section of the gateway webpage, and scroll down and go to the Devices page under OPC-UA SERVER, and click on the create new device link. We then want to select the Allen-Bradley SLC driver. This driver can connect to a SLC 505 through Ethernet, or a SLC 504 through something like a NET-ENI module. We can then scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the Next button. We then want to configure a connection, like giving it a name and a hostname, which is the IP address of the device. In my case, it's 10.20.4.51. And then we hit the Create New Device button at the bottom. It will then browse the device for any tags, and connect to it. Once it has successfully connected, we can scroll down and view our tags in the Quick Client under OPC CONNECTIONS.

[01:07] We can expand these folders, find our device, and you'll see all the tags in the device by expanding any of the folders here.
