Learn how to lock individual project level resources in the Ignition Designer using the protect option. For this to function correctly, a role must be added to the Protect Resources project setting.

[00:00] - Individual resources inside of Ignition can be locked. And to do this all you have to do is go into the designer and open up the project that you want to lock objects in. And then for most of the objects in the project browser, you can right click and then go to protect. So when you check that. And then now this thing cannot be changed except by someone that can unprotect it and then go modify it. So all we have to do is save that, and then now it's protected. Additionally, inside of the project browser here, a good example is if you have some scripts. Then we can go to this new script, right click, and change protect. And then that particular script will be protected.
