[00:00] Let's take a look at how we would connect Ignition to an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC that's running firmware version 20 or lower using Ignition's legacy ControlLogix driver. After logging into the configure section of the gateway webpage, we're going to scroll down and go to the devices page under OPC-UA server. Here we're going to click on the create new device link and then scroll down and select the legacy Allen-Bradley ControlLogix driver and hit the next button. Here we can configure the connection. I'm going to name mine ControlLogix, and for the host name we're going to put the IP address of the device. Mine is 10.20.4.50. The only other property we need to worry about is the slot number, which is where the processor is actually located in the chassis. Mine is located at slot zero so I'm going to leave it at the default. Then we hit the create new device button. Once it gets connected it's automatically going to browse the device, and then once it's done browsing the device I can scroll down and go to the quick client under OPC connections, expand my OPC server and find my device where I can see all of the tags located in this device.
